The Formula 2 race that was taking place this Saturday afternoon at Spa just after the F1 qualifying of the Belgian Grand Prix was canceled.
The long race of F2 in Belgium was placed under red flag by the direction of race after a huge crash occurred in the raidillon and involving several cars of which that of the French Anthoine Hubert and that of the American Juan Manuel Correa, as well as that piloted by Marino Sato.
The race management announced that the race would not be restarted and that no points would be awarded to the drivers today at Spa.
Relief quickly arrived, but for now, we have no information to communicate about the health of pilots.
Update at 7:00 pm: The Frenchman Anthoine Hubert died of his wounds this Saturday, August 31st.
