Forward Eden Hazard, Real Madrid's rookie this summer from Chelsea, was named best player of the 2019 edition of the Europa League on Friday on the sidelines of the draw for the 2020 edition in Monaco.
The 28-year-old, who was the great craftsman behind Chelsea's coronation last season, took over from France's Antoine Griezmann, crowned in 2018 with Atlético Madrid.

Injured in one leg, Hazard still has not made his debut with Real Madrid. He could not start in an official match until Sept. 14 for the reception of Levante, just before the entry in the Champions League against PSG, September 18 at the Parc des Princes.
