American actress Valerie Harper is no longer


Valerie Harper, an American actress who made the best of successful sitcom comedy in the 1970s, passed away. She was 80 years old.

Dan Watt, a family friend, confirmed the actress's death on Friday, adding that the family did not want to give more details for the moment.

Harper was a rising star on the show Tea Mary Tyler Moore Show, while she played the role of Rhoda, a neighbor of the star to whom she gave the reply, multiplying the comical situations.

In March 2013, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with end-stage brain cancer. She had battled lung cancer in 2009, and her husband manager recently said she was advised to put her in a health center.

Harper has also made appearances on Broadway and in feature films, including Freebie and the Bean and Chapter Two.
